The Rescue Diver course is probably the most challenging and rewarding course in recreational diving. It prepares you to deal with dive emergencies, minor and major, using a variety of techniques. The course covers the topics of self-rescue, recognizing and managing stress in other divers, emergency management and equipment, rescuing panicked or unresponsive divers. During the rescue exercises, you put into practice your knowledge and skills. It will help you become a more attentive buddy and confident diver, knowing that you can help others if needed. You are also required to attend an emergency first response course within the past year, or you can complete this training during your Rescue Diver course for an additional fee.

Before any diving activity, you will have to fill in and sign the Diver Medical Questionnaire.
